Scuba began her career in natural studies with Devil Ark, the program developed to breed and return healthy Tasmanian Devils to the wild after eradicating infections of devil facial tumour disease from within their species.
In 2012, she was asked by the then principal of Orange Grove Public School to undertake management of the school's 'garden program' which has since evolved into one of the most respected and popular primary school environmental and sustainability education projects in the Inner West of Sydney. Scuba is a member of the Inner West Sustainable Schools Network, and along with her longstanding tenure at Orange Grove, which supports students and teachers alike, Scuba is also seen undertaking similar programs at other institutions such as such as Leichhardt Public School, All Hallows Five Dock, and Wilkens Green in Marrickville. |
